A revised scheme has been granted planning permission for the Clipper pub site, opposite the location for the Rotherhithe Bridge. It is unfortunately an eyesore, a sad fate for the pretty Clipper to be replaced by this unpleasant building. It will overhang the pavement and dominate the street scene, and due to its massive size, it will damage the amenities of surrounding properties.
